1. Place a pan on a cooking zone.
2. Turn the control knob clockwise to the desired position (see ‘Cooking settings’).
The display shows the setting that you have set and the cooking zone heats up.

3. Turn the knob to ‘0’ to switch off the cooking zone.
Switching on ‘boost’
You can use the ‘boost’ function to cook at the highest power level for a short period of time.
After the maximum boost time has passed, the power will be reduced to the previous setting.
1. Turn the control knob anticlockwise to the ‘P’ position and leave the knob in that position
until ‘P’ appears in the display.
2. The ‘boost’ function is now active and ‘P’ appears in the display.
3. Then turn the control knob back to ‘0’ and then clockwise to the desired position.
The cooking zone switches to ‘Boost’ mode. The display will show the ‘P’ and the set level
alternately.
▷
If you turn the control knob to a lower or higher setting, the ‘boost’ function remains
active.
▷
Turn the knob to ‘0’ to completely switch off the ‘boost’ function while cooking.
▷
After the maximum boost time has passed, the power will be reduced to the desired
setting and only the heat setting will be shown in the display.
4. Turn the knob to ‘0’ to switch off the cooking zone.
