Maintenance/Service/Warranty
Cleaning

– Use a damp cloth and a mild cleaning
agent or alcohol to clean the casing and
slingbar externally.
NB! Do not use cleaning agents containing
phenol or chlorine as they can damage
aluminium and plastic materials.
General maintenance
A general inspection of the sling, the lifting strap’s
condition, attachment between lifting strap and bar
as well as the rail system’s attachment to ceiling/walls
must be performed before each instance of use.
If preventative maintenance reveals a defect that
might compromise the safety of the user, the lift must
be taken out of service immediately. The lift must not
be used again until the defect has been dealt with and
function has been checked.
If any defect is detected in the ceiling lift,
the lift must not be used until repairs have
been carried out by a suitably qualified
technician. Damaged slings must be
discarded.

Annual service/inspection

The preventative maintenance service includes
inspection of the lift’s essential components such as
the rail system, attachment devices, lifting strap and
slingbar, as well as checking functionality and safety
appliances. The maintenance service must be carried
out by an individual authorized service partner. The
test results must be documented with an inspection
report.
Repairs and maintenance must only be
carried out by an individual authorized
service partner using original spare parts.
Warranty

– The motor has a six-year warranty; the battery a
