9 Empty the ash box
End heating mode
End the boiler's heating mode with the On/Off switch in
the boiler overview window. The boiler performs an
ember burnout and then changes to the [Switched off]
operating mode. Then start de-ashing, so that the
boiler can perform a final de-ashing.
Empty the ash box, inspect the seals
If the boiler ash box is already empty, also empty
the precipitator ash box. This prevents an
additional boiler switch-off.
Open both side fasteners by pressing their locks in the
direction of the arrow.

Remove the ash box from the precipitator. Remove the
cover by opening the fasteners and empty the ash box.

Inspect the seal on the ash box cover to ensure it is in
good order, and replace it if necessary.

Inspect the ash box seals on the precipitator to ensure
they are in good order and replace if necessary.

After emptying the ash box, replace the cover on the
ash box and attach the ash box to the precipitator with
the two fasteners.

Once the ash box is attached, precipitator de-
ashing starts automatically in order to transport
the remaining ash to the ash box.
