Cooking without the lid
The pressure cooker allows you to prepare food (e.g. to fry onions, meat) as if it
was typical electric/gas cooker or el. pot when the lid is removed.
1) By pressing the button, select the “
Cooking without the lid
” programme [number
20
will be shown on the display].
2) With the cooking time buttons (
+
or
–
), set the required cooking time. The minimum
value is 1 minute, while the maximum value is 20 minutes.
3) By pressing the
START / STOP
button, set the required programme (moving segments
will be shown on the display).
4) As soon as the temperature reaches approx. 100 °C, the countdown of the pre-set time
starts (in
1
minute steps). The temperature is maintained within approx. 150 - 180 °C.
5) When the pre-set time elapses, the programme stops (you will hear a signal sound,
number
0.0
will be shown on the display) and the food or speciality may now be
removed from the pressure cooker.
Steam cooking
The pressure cooker allows you to set the cooking time manually.
1) By pressing the button, select the “
Steam cooking
” programme [number
20
will be
shown on the display].
2) With the cooking time buttons (
+
or
–
), set the required cooking time. The minimum
value is 5 minutes, while the maximum value is 30 minutes.
3) By pressing the
START / STOP
button, set the required programme (moving segments
will be shown on the display).
4) As soon as temperature and pressure start increasing in the pressure cooker, the safety
valve
B2
will close the opening in the lid and prevent release of steam from the pressure
cooker. For safety reasons, the lid cannot be removed at this stage.
Do not try to
remove the lid by force!
5) When the required temperature and pressure is reached (the display shows the time
set), the countdown of the pre-set time starts (in
1
minute steps).
6) Then set the pressure control valve
B4
to the position „
Steam
“.
7) When the pre-set time elapses, the programme stops (you will hear a signal sound,
number

is shown on the display) and the mode of the pressure cooker changes to
“maintaining temperature” with the time set to 8 hours.
ATTENTION
–
During the cooking process and while maintaining temperature, steam is released
from the limit valve
B4
, which makes a characteristic „hissing“ sound. This event is
completely normal and it is not a reason for complaint.

f while cooking you need to remove the lid for any reason (e.g. to add ingredients /
to season / to mix the food) it is always necessary to first reduce the pressure inside
the pressure cooker (i.e.
to release steam
) and only then remove the lid. For mixing
use the spoon

, which you can place in the holder

while cooking. In this way the
spoon will always remain hygienically clean.

During operation it is possible to view the progress of the programme on the display.
As the programme progresses the digits of the set time gradually decrease.

Never leave finished meals in the pressure cooker with the
Udržování teploty (Keep
warm)
function turned on for longer than necessary. The meal could start to spoil.

A selected programme can be ended at any time by pressing the
START / STOP
button.
