OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
–
Read carefully the Operation Instructions before first putting into operation, see the
illustrations, and store the Operation Instructions.
–
Check if the value on the type placard is in accordance with the voltage in your electric
socket.
–
Never use the appliance in case the power cable or socket plug is damaged, or if the
appliance does not work properly, or if it has hit the ground and has been damaged. In
such cases, forward the appliance to authorized service station to check its safety and
proper function.
–
Do not plug the power cable to socket or unplug the power cable from socket by
wet hands or by pulling the power cable!
–
The appliance is intended for home use only or for similar purposes!
–
The appliance is not intended for use by the persons (children inclusive) whose
physical, sensual and mental disability or lack of experiences or knowledge prevents
safe use of the appliance, unless they will be supervised or instructed on safe use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. The children should be
supervised to ensure that they will not play with the appliance.
–
Do not use this appliance connected with control unit, timer, or any other device which
switches the appliance automatically.
–
Do not leave the appliance in operation unattended, and watch it during the
whole time of food preparation!
–
Never plunge the drive unit into water, nor wash it under water stream.
–
Use the appliance in working position only on places where its overturning does not
threaten and in sufficient distance from heat sources (e.g.
stove, electric cooker, gas
cooker
) and from wet surfaces (e.g.
kitchen sink, wash-basin
).
–
Use the appliance only with the accessories intended for this type. Use of another
accessories can be dangerous for an operator.
–
Do not insert the accessories into any body opening.
–
Never insert fingers into the filling opening, nor use a fork, a knife or a spoon.
Use only enclosed rammer for this purpose.
–
Always unplug the appliance before each accessory replacement, after the work is
finished and before each maintenance.
–
Do not exceed maximum time of continuous appliance operation which is 3 minutes.
–
The appliance is equipped with thermal safety fuse which disconnects current supply in
case of engine overloading. If it occurs, unplug the appliance and let the appliance get
cooled.
–
The appliance is equipped with mechanical fuse, too. Plastic tooth wheel located on the
spiral feeder is designed to be broken in case some bones or kitchen utensils get into
the appliance, to prevent a damage of the engine. If such situation occurs, proceed
according to instructions stated in the paragraph
IV.
MAINTENANCE
–
Do not process frozen food.
–
Switch the appliance off in case processed food begins be caught for example on the
knife or exchangeable discs, and clean a pertinent part.
–
In case of use of extension cable, it is necessary that this cable must not be damaged
and must comply with valid safety regulations.
–
Supply cable must not be damaged by keen or hot objects, open flame, and must not
be plunged into water.
