Overview of the factory settings (DIP switch 3)
5 • OPERATION
Depending on the set light value, every time movement is detected, the
red or green LEDs briefly flash twice. (This function can be switched off,
see Remote control section). The presence detector operates according
to the default factory settings.
Delay
When persons are present, in order to avoid sudden changes in
brightness caused by undesired switching on/off of the lighting, the
detector will only be triggered after a time delay.
Time delay from light to dark: 30 sec. =
red LED lights up during this period.
Time delay from dark to light: 5 min. =
red LED flashes slowly during this period.
Button S1 – S3/remote control C1 – C3 + light ON/OFF
For each switching channel, the presence detector is equipped with
a connection for an external button. This can be used to manually
switch each switch channel on or off, or to temporarily change the light
channel's DIM values.
Button S1 or remote control C1 + light ON/OFF switches both light
channels C1 + C2 on/off as the master. If S2 or remote control C2 + light
ON/OFF is pressed first, the master function is disabled and only light
channel C2 is switched on/off. If S1 or remote control C1 + light ON/OFF
is then pressed, light channel C1 is switched on/off.
Manual switch-on: Briefly press S1 – S3/remote control C1 – C3 + light ON/OFF.
The lighting will remain switched on for as long as the detector continues
to detect movement. If movement is no longer detected, the preset time
setting will start. Once this time has elapsed, the lighting will switch off
and the detector will revert to the set operating mode.
Manual switch-off: Briefly press S1 – S3/remote control C1 – C3 + light ON/OFF.
The lighting will remain switched off for as long as the detector
continues to detect movement. If movement is no longer detected, the
preset time setting will start. Once this time has elapsed, the detector
will revert to the set operating mode.
Changing the DIM value: Press S1 – S2 until the required light value is
reached. Briefly press remote control C1 – C2 + DIM , when the required
light value is reached press the “Eye” button. The light value will remain
switched on for as long as the detector continues to detect movement.
If movement is no longer detected, the preset time setting will start.
Once this time has elapsed, the lighting will switch off and the detector
will revert to the set operating mode with the original light value.
