5.1 Connecting the device to the network
Ground contact electrical plug - single phase (220-240); 1 N; 1 PE.
Use the power supply cable provided with the equipment. Hook up the
device to the ground contact plug only. Complete the connection in
complying with the data listed on the configuration plate.

Filling with the chemical product
Fill the tank
prior
to initiating operations, until reaching an adequate level.
The optimal level stands at approx. 2/3 of the tank height.
Indication of the maximum level serves to determine the
recommended upper level, including the parts to be cleaned.
It is mandatory to choose a product that is both adapted to ultrasonic
washing and compatible with the materials being cleaned.
The recommended set of chemical products should be given priority.
As a general rule, all inflammable products are forbidden. Adhere to
the safety precautions listed in
Chapter
0
(on solvents).
Fire and explosion risk! Never pour solvent or inflammable liquid directly into
the tank. Only use recommended products.
The ultrasound effects stimulate the evaporation process, as a slight
mist collects just above the tank; this mist can quickly ignite if in
contact with a heat source.
Risk of deterioration to the tank! Never pour acid products directly into the
tank (pH less than 7) if the liquid contains halides (fluorine, chlorite or
bromide), stemming from either dirty parts or the liquid itself.
This guideline would also apply to salt-based solutions (NaCl). Once again,
limit use to just the recommended products.
The tank made of special steel can quickly deteriorate when exposed
to the effect of corrosion. Even everyday household products may
contain substances that cause tank damage. Make sure to respect all
the other restrictive precautions described in
Chapter
0
.
