For your safety
Correct use
The Desktop Multi-Charger was developed for char-
ging smartphones, tablet computers and other devices
that can be charged using a USB interface. It should
only be used for this purpose and only as described
in these operating instructions. Please also note the
manufacturer’s specifications and operating instruc -
tions for the various devices themselves.
Foreseeable improper use
The Desktop Multi-Charger cannot be used as a USB
hub (USB distributor) It does not allow data to be trans-
ferred between the different USB connectors.
Safety measures upon set-up
•
The product was developed for use indoors. Never
use outdoors.
•
Set up the product near an easily accessible power
pocket. Make sure that the product can be com-
pletely disconnected from the mains.
•
Arrange the mains power cable so that it is not over-
stretched, pinched or twisted and that no one can
trip over it. It is particularly important that no damage
can be caused to the plug or the mains cable outlet
from the power supply unit.
•
Do not drop the product or subject it to sudden
impacts.
Care during operation
•
Protect the product from damage and do not use it if
the mains cable or plug are damaged.
•
The always disconnect the charger from the mains
by pulling the plug, never the cable. Never touch the
mains plug with wet hands.
Care during cleaning, transport and storage
•
Unplug the device before transport, cleaning and
storage.
•
Use a soft damp cloth and a small amount of deter-
gent to clean the housing. Do not use wipes or
chemicals as these could damage the surface. Keep
all liquids away from the connectors and electric/
electronic components. These cannot be cleaned
•
Never open the casing and never try to repair the
product itself. Contact your dealer if repairs become
necessary.
