Putting a call on hold when connected to a PABX
When ST200-S is connected to a PABX, you have to press the
R
key in order
to put a call on hold.

Press the
key during conversation.
The call has now been put on hold and you can access all the PABX services.
Warning!
Do not use the HOLD key to put the call on hold.
The only function of the HOLD key is to turn off
the handset microphone momentarily (the external
user receives waiting music). However, the operator
cannot forward the call to another extension or
access the telephone switch services. Moreover, the
call is cleared if you press the HOLD key twice
.
Accessing the provider’s services
When ST200-S is directly connected to the trunk line (not to a PABX),
R
key
allows you to access the telephone network provider’s services (Call Waiting,
Conference…). Please ask the provider for a list of the available services.
