7. DCMB Settings
The
Configuration
tab within the DCMB Web UI can be used to change the settings and configure aspects of
DCMB’s operation.
7.1 DCMB IP Address Configuration
The DCMB of the Supra-5000 projector has two network interfaces:
IMB Ethernet 2
which
corresponds to the
GIGABIT Port 2
and
IMB Ethernet 1
which corresponds to the
GIGABIT Port 1
on the DCMB. The
IMB Ethernet 2
IP Address is set to a default value of 192.168.1.12 as a part of
the standard configuration. You can update the IP Address for both these network interfaces, using
the steps mentioned below:
1. Login to the DCMB Web UI with
Maintenance
user-level access.
2. Under the
Configuration
tab, click on the
System
sub-tab.
3. Scroll down to the
Network Configuration
section.
4. Enter the IP values
#
for
IMB Ethernet 2, Subnet Mask
and
Gateway
.
5. As an option, you may also mention a Secondary
IP Address
and
Subnet Mask
for the DCMB,
by checking the
IMB Ethernet 1
checkbox. This can be used to connect to
the Cinema’s Content
network. Make sure that the
IMB Ethernet 2
and
IMB Ethernet 1
IPs belong to different subnets.
6. Once the settings have been entered, click
Validate IPs
button to check all the IP Addresses
entered for their correctness.
