4.7 Network Setup (
for Cinema users
)
The Espedeo Supra-5000 projector can be connected to the Media/Content and Management
network of the Cinema, as depicted in
below.

LAN1
port of the PIB and the
GIGABIT Port 2
of the DCMB should be connected to the
C
inema’s Management network, via a network switch.

The IP Address of the DCMB
GIGABIT Port 2
(IMB Ethernet 2) can be configured from the
Configuration
→ System
menu of the DCMB Web UI (refer to
Section 7.1
for more details).

The IP Address of the PIB
LAN1
port can be configured from the
Install
→ Projector IP
Address Settings
menu
of the Supra Command Center web interface (refer to
Section 6.8
for more details).

The
GIGABIT Port 1
of the DCMB should be connected to the C
inema’s Media/Content network.

The IP Address of the DCMB
GIGABIT Port 1
(IMB Ethernet 1) can be configured from the
Configuration
→ System
menu of the DCMB Web UI (refer to
Section 7.1
for more details).
Using this configuration, the
Supra Command Center web interface
and the
DCMB Web UI
can be
accessed via a laptop which is connected to the C
inema’s Management network. Make sure the
laptop network interface IP, DCMB
IMB Ethernet 2
IP and the PIB
LAN1
IP are configured as per the
C
inema’s Management network and are on the same subnet.
NOTE
The Supra Command Center web interface and the DCMB Web UI can also be accessed using a
laptop that is connected to the
LAN2
port of the PIB. The IP address of the PIB
LAN2
port is fixed
to 192.168.254.241 (Supra Command Center web interface) and 192.168.254.246 (DCMB Web
UI). Make sure that the PIB
LAN2
IP and the laptop network interface IP are on the same subnet.
It is preferred to use this method of accessing
the projector’s web interfaces for
debugging purposes.
