12V cooling fan failed 

(Fan fails to engage when the 

enclosure temperature is over 

70F [20C]) 

 

If control panel is functioning, check 30A breaker on the engine 

control panel. 

 

If the engine control panel fails to start, see “Engine controller 

fails” 

 

Check fan thermostat circuit  

 

The fan should draw approximately 17-20A if operating 

correctly.  

 

Check/replace the three 40A Bosch style relays in the engine 

control panel. All three relays must be working for the fan to 

operate.  

 

Replace fan
