Auto-E-Connect® Support
The ESERA
Auto-E-Connect®
1-Wire Plug and Play system will be used for the
1-Wire Bus supported. This enables fully automatic configurations of 1-Wire sensors
and actuators on the 1-Wire bus. It is optimized for industrial applications and
enables significant added value beyond the sensor and chip data.
The Auto-E-Connect function automatically recognizes ESERA chips, sensors and actuators, starts suitable
libraries and outputs fully formatted data.
The Auto-E-Connect functionality will be available from mid 2020 via 1-Wire Controllers, 1-Wire Gateways and
1-Wire ECO from ESERA available.

Software / Control
The device is read by 1-Wire command for DS18B20 devices. The device is supported in many
computer programs like ESERA-Station Loxone, IP-Symcon, OWFS, FHEM, (Linux) or microcontroller
applications.

Control by 1-Wire Controller / 1-Wire Gateway
The 1-Wire interface of the 1-Wire temperature sensor Pro is controlled by standard commands for the
device DS18B20. The 1-Wire Controller / 1-Wire Gateway has already stored a suitable formula for the
conversion of the raw data of the 1-Wire block. It is not necessary to assign an OWD number.

Data output 1-Wire Controller / 1-Wire Gateway
For the ESERA-Automation 1-Wire temperature sensor Pro, the following data are output. If you divide
the value by 100, you get the data with two decimal places.
