21. Set the top pole (51) on a piece of cardboard to protect the bottom of the
pole. Insert the Pole Cap (38) at the top of the pole as shown in
Detail A
.

22. Insert Top Pole (51) into Middle Pole (50). Make sure that the Spring
Bracket on Top pole is on the same side as Actuator bracket on Middle
Pole. See

NOTE
: If your Top Pole (51) has the Pole Cap (38) pre-installed skip step 21.
If needed use a Rubber
Mallet to tap Cap in
but be very careful not
to damage it.
NOTE
DO NOT
step on the
ballast to attach top pole.
NOTE
CAUTION:
PINCH POINTS!
DO NOT
place
your hand on any of these three
locations when inserting the pole.
