The LIF SC module offers the serial legacy interfaces V.35, V.36 and
X.21; interfaces used for providing synchronous leased line services.
The module is self-configurable to each of the three interfaces, and by
connecting different cable adapters to the module’s universal serial
communications the three interfaces are provided.
For all legacy interfaces, the unit will act as a DCE unit.

By connecting the V.35 cable adapter toward the LIF SC module, a
V.35 connector (M/34 pin Windchester female ISO 2593) is presented
to the user equipment.

By connecting the V.36 cable adapter toward the LIF SC module, a
V.36 connector (37 pin, sub-D female ISO 4902) is presented to the
user equipment.

By connecting the X.21 cable adapter toward the LIF SC module, an
X.21 connector (15 pin, Sub D female ISO 4903) is offered to the user
equipment.
