8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
When using the heat gun for the first few times there may be some smoke coming out of the
product. This is normal and no sign of damage.
Use the temperature gauge (4) to turn on the heat gun. Setting 1 will give you temperatures of up to
350°C and setting II of up to 550°C.
The heatprotector (2) can be removed as shown in images A and B. Let the heat gun cool down
completely before removing or attaching the heatprotection. To cool down the heat gun turn it off,
unplug it and place it on a flat, stable and non-flammable surface (C) and away from any flammable
materials (curtains, plants, etc.). Do not leave the heat gun unattended untill it has fully cooled
down!
