EQUITEL – Technical Manual N968

Installation Steps

1. Unpack the Industrial switch.

2. To hang the Industrial switch on the wall, please refer to the

Wall Mounting

section.

3. Ground the industrial switch.

4. To power on the Industrial switch, please refer to the

Wiring the Power Inputs

section for further information on how to wire the power. And then the power LED on

the Industrial switch will light up. Please refer to the

LED Indicators

section for

indication of LED lights.

5. Prepare the appropriate cables for Ethernet connection.

6. The Ethernet port LED on the Industrial switch will light up when the cable is

connected with the network device. Please refer to the

LED Indicators

section for

LED light indication.

7. When all connections are set and LED lights all show in normal, the installation is

complete.

Note

This equipment is intended for use in a Pollution Degree 2

industrial environment.
