5.2 DISASSEMBLY

This section describes disassembly procedures for replacing the following three parts:

• Fuse
• Print head unit
• J guide assembly B (cutter blade)

For other disassembly procedures, refer to Section 5.3,

Printer Mechanism Assembly, and to Section 5.4, Whole Unit

Assembly. The disassembly procedures are basically the reverse of the assembly steps described in these sections.

5.2.1 Removing the Fuse

Disassembly Procedure

• Turn over the printer
• Remove the screws from the Plate-Base assembly.
• Remove the GND plate fastening screw, and release the Plate-Base assembly from the tab of the GND

plate.

• Remove the Plate-Base assembly from the Case-Main; then disconnect all connectors connected to the

Plate-Base assembly.

(•Replace the fuse as described in Section 4.2.1,

Fuse replacement.)
