Function :

• Detection for paper positioning control
• Detection of the paper tail end

Detector specifications

Recognition of the change of the PE signals:
The recognition during driving of the ASF Motor is such that the signal is read and
judged immediately (within 100

µ

s) after phase switching.

NOTE:

Once “no paper” has been detected during driving of the PF Motor,
paper detecting operation does not take place during paper feeding by
the PF Motor until paper ejecting operation is completed.
