Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly and Assembly of Major Parts of Printer

4.4.21 CD-R Guide Assy

Remove the Linear Scale. (p.91)

Remove the Printer Mechanism. (p.107)

Remove the Carriage Assy. (p.116)

Remove the torsion springs at the right and left sides.

Remove the screws (x2), and remove the CD-R Stopper and the CD-R Link Lever.
In doing so, take care not to lose the spring.

At the left side, remove the E-type retaining ring and washer, and remove the CD-R
Right Cam.

At the right side, remove the E-type retaining ring from the CD-R Shaft, and remove
the CD-R Gear 17.6 and parallel pin.

At the bottom, remove the E-type retaining ring from the CD-R Shaft, detach the
parallel pin, and pull out the CD-R Shaft from the CD-R Guide Assy.

Remove the CD-R Guide Assy from the printer frame while pressing the right and left
shanks of the CD-R Guide Assy inward.
