2. Tear off any printed sheets or extra blank sheets. If you are

not using the short tear-off feature, press the

FORM FEED

button to advance your document to a point where it can be

removed.

Note:

If the perforation of the page is not fed past the edge of

the

paper bail the first time, press

the FORM FEED

button

again. Do not use the platen knob to feed the paper while

the printer is turned on.

WARNING:

Make sure you tear off your printed document

before pressing the

LOAD/EJECT

button. Reverse

feeding several pages at a time may result in a paper

jam. This is especially true for narrow paper between

102 and 152 mm (between 4 and 6 inches).

Never feed labels backward through the printer.

Labels can easily come off the backing sheet and jam

the printer.
