Setting/Additional Explanation
Advanced Paper Settings
Confirm ICC profile
Displays the ICC profile name.
This is only displayed when the optional PS unit is connected and a custom paper
is set.
Confirm Color Density
Displays the Color Density.
This is only displayed when the optional PS unit is connected and a custom paper
is set.
Paper Thickness
0.01 - 1.50 mm (0.01 mm units)/0.4 - 59.1 mil (0.1 mil units)
This item is only displayed for Custom Paper Setting.
Platen Gap
Auto, 1.2, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1, 2.4
Select a wider setting if print results are scratched or smudged.
Top Margin
3 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 45 mm
If the margin at the leading edge of the paper is small, colors may be uneven
depending on the paper and printing environment. If this occurs, print a larger
margin at the leading edge of the paper.
Bottom Margin
3 mm, 15 mm
Margin Between Pages
Standard, 6 mm, 30 mm, 65 mm
Paper Suction
-4 - +3
Thin or soft paper may not be fed correctly. If this occurs, reduce the setting.
Back Tension
Standard, High, Extra High
Adjust this when paper gets wrinkled during printing.
Drying Time
Drying Time per Pass, Drying time per page
You can set the drying time for each print head movement (pass) or the drying
time for each page.
Paper Size Check
Allows you to change settings after loading paper (before the paper is fed).
Auto Cut
Follow Paper Source Settings, Never Cut
Skew Reduction
On, Off
Select whether to enable (On) or disable (Off) paper skew reduction while printing
on roll paper.
Roll Core Diameter
2inch, 3inch
Set the paper core size for the roll paper being loaded.
Lateral Feed Adjustment
On, Off
Set this to On to correct differences in the left or right of the paper feed.
Paper Eject Roller
Auto, Use, Do Not Use
Paper Feed Offset
-1.0 - +1.53%
This item is only displayed for custom paper.
Restore Default Settings
The advanced paper settings are saved for the paper type. Select this when you
want to restore the default settings.
This is not displayed when Custom Paper is selected.
