4.2.1.1  Discharging Electricity from Capacitor

The following shows how to discharge the electricity from the electrolytic 
capacitor (C5412) on the PW1 Board. Failure to perform this will lead to a high 
chance of getting electric shock. Follow the steps below.

1.

Prepare a cement resistance which has a standard higher than 560

Ω

/10W.

2.

After removing the front cabinet of the camera, connect 2 lead wires to the 
soldering wires of the electrolytic capacitor (poles are not determined) or 
the lead wires on the capacitor.

Avoid getting electric shock 
by using insulating tape.

No Fixed Direction

Use the resistance with at 
least 560

Ω
