1.7 MAIN COMPONENTS

The table below identifies and describes the main board and driier board modifications that have been made for the

LQ-870/1170 printer.

Table 1-17. Main Boards and Driver Board

Board Name

CO60 MAIN

Description

Main board in original 

 and LQ-1170s. A different board CO60 board

was used for the LQ-870 and for the LQ-1170. Driver circuitry was on a
separate board.

 DRV

CO61 MAIN

Contained driver circuitry. Used only with the CO60 MAIN board.

For the LQ-1170 only. Combined main board and driier board. (CO60 DRV

board is unnecessary.)

CO60 MAIN B

New boards for the LQ-870 and LQ-1170. There is a different CO60 MAIN B
board for the LQ-870 than is used for the LQ-1170. These boards combine main
board and driver board (CO60 DRV board is unnecessary), and can replace any
previous board for a printer of the same carriage width.
