Cutter Unit

If paper dust or adhesive has attached to the cutter unit, the printer may fail to feed the tape correctly, or the
tape may get jammed inside the printer. Clean the cutter unit if such problems occur.

Remove the cutter unit from the printer.

"Replacing the Cutter Unit" on page 37

Dampen a cotton swab with alcohol, and using the swab, remove paper dust and/or

adhesive from the cutter blade and the blade receiving part. Clean the areas shown

in the figure below.

After removing paper dust and/or adhesive, wipe off alcohol or moisture with a dry

cotton swab.

Install the cutter unit in the printer.
