If the scanner is the only SCSI device you are going to connect

to your computer or if it is the last device in the daisy chain,

you must attach the optional SCSI terminator to the unused

SCSI

connector.

Connecting the SCSI

Connect the scanner with the

SCSI

as follows:

See that the scanner, the computer, and all other SCSI

devices are turned off and unplugged from the power

source.

2. Connect the 50-pin end of the cable to either the right or left

SCSI connector of the scanner; then fasten the connector

with the clamps on the sides of the connector.

3. Connect the 25-pin end of the cable to the SCSI port of your

computer. Then connect the optional SCSI terminator to the

unused SCSI connector on the scanner.
