Installing and Using the Printer Driver
Installing the Printer Driver for All Windows Users
The software installation procedures for the various Windows
operating systems are similar and will be treated together in the
following section.
Follow these steps to install the printer driver:
1. Make sure the printer is off and Windows is running.
2. Insert the CD-ROM that comes with your printer into your
CD-ROM drive.
3. The EPSON Installation Program screen opens automatically.
If the EPSON Installation Program screen does not appear
automatically, click
Start
and
Run
(in Windows
2000/98/95/NT 4.0); or choose
Run
from the File menu in the
Program Manager (in Windows 3.11 for
Workgroups/3.1/NT 3.51). Then, enter
D:\EPSETUP.EXE
and
click
OK
(substitute the appropriate drive letter if necessary).
4. Double-click
Install Printer Driver
; or select
Install Printer Driver
and then click the arrow on the top right.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
The printer driver is now installed on your computer. The
installation program automatically selects this printer as the
default printer for Windows applications.
