Remove the ribbon cartridge and paper from the printer.

Close the top cover.

Turn the printer on while pressing the TEAR OFF, MICRO FEED (v), and
FRONT/REAR buttons. (At this time the buzzer sounds 2 beeps, the carriage
moves to the 15th column position automatically, and the adjustment state
changes to the allow you to adjust the ALPHA value.

Reset the ALPHA value by pressing the TEAR OFF and MICRO FEED (

buttons simultaneously. (The buzzer sounds 2 beeps to confirm the reset.)

Set the value in memory to the ALPHA value written on the printhead

 Press the MICRO FEED (

) button to increment value by 

 Press the MICRO FEED (v) button to decrement the value by -1.

Confirm the ALPHA value you have written to memory by pressing the
