8.2

Inspection and attendance

The following works you have to accomplish in the given intervals. We advice to
document the accomplishment of work.

8.2.1 Lubrication

Attention:

You never may lubricate or oil the rolls. You would cause a slide

– through of

the material and therefore accomplish no bending action. Keep away the rolls
from oil and fat. You also have to assure, that only materials are used that are
fat

– free and clean.

8.2.2 Daily work



Clean up the machine and remove chip rests



Check the condition of the rolls (defect rolls have to be replaced

directly)



Check the function of the safety switch/ equipment

8.2.3 Weekly work



Well cleaning of the machine and remove chip rests



Clean the rolls



Dismantle the rolls



Open the housing and clean the internal room and the adjusting

spindle



Check the condition of the rolls (defect rolls have to be replaced

directly)



Check the function of the safety switch/ equipment

8.2.4 Monthly work



Check the blameless fit of all fixing screws



Check the axes and bearings of the rolls



Check the axes about true running



Lubricate all movable parts a little bit with acid

– free fat



Check the collateral guides



Check the blameless fit of the fixing screws at the driving motor and

the safety equipment



Check the condition of the rolls (defect rolls have to be replaced

directly)



Check the function of the safety switch/ equipment
