4.4 Hand drive/ function mode
The machine has 3 control modes:

Hand drive/ feed automatic/ threading
4.4.1 Function hand drive
Activate the drive and accomplish the bore by guiding the feed lever.
4.4.2 Function feed automatic
Above the feed lever the choice lever is located the choice lever fort he
feed. Adjust it to the desired position.

Only shift during stoppage.
The feed lever has a pressure switch for activating the feed. If you push
the switch once, the electro mechanic coupling catches, the centre
sleeve sags with the adjusted factor.
If you push the switch another time, the coupling unlatches and the
centre sleeve returns to the basic position.
If the centre sleeve achieves the end Stop, the coupling also unlatches.

Do not use the table height adjustment during you are working with
the feed automatic.
4.4.3 Function threading

At first choose the driving speed

Adjust the depth Stop at the cutting depth

Activate the function „threading“
The function switch is located over the driving speed choice switch.

Do not use the feed or the table height adjustment during you are
work
ing with „threading“.

Activate the drive

Insert the die into the work part until it catches

Let the centre sleeve lever go
If the centre sleeve achieves the depth arrester, the automatic shifts the
turning direction and the die gets turned out of the work part. If the
centre sleeve returns now into the ground position, the turning direction
is shifted again. Now the cutting cycle has finished.

Do not make more than 8 threadings per minute so that the
overcurrent relay of the main motor does not get too hot. Insert
accordant breaks.
