Functions of Epec Mobile PC buttons
15.3.1
ON/OFF Button
The
ON/OFF-
button
starts the Epec Mobile PC system in the normal working and
operating mode and alternatively switches off the system in a controlled manner. The
controlled switch-off can take place only when the operating system has started. Save
all work before switching the system off.
Note! Turn the hardware off before switching the main power off.
1. Start on the system
●
Hold the button down for at least half a second (0.5s)
2. Controlled shutdown
●
Hold the button down for about three seconds (3s).

Backlight control buttons
Backlight control buttons
are used to control the brightness of the display. The
backlight is bright and active by default. The user settings are automatically saved for
the next time that the system is used.
1. Decreasing the backlight brightness
●
Press the left-hand arrow button
2. Increasing the backlight brightness
●
Press the right-hand arrow button
3. Switching the backlight off
●
Press both keys at the same time
4. Activating backlight
●
Press both keys at the same time
