Mains connection
The applicable international (VDE), national and local (EVU) legal norms
and requirements in their currently valid versions should be observed. All
installation and verification work in Germany should be carried out by a
licensed and appropriately qualified electrician in compliance with VDE
0100 part 701.
Leakage current
The electricity supply must be protected by a residual-current-operated
protective device (RCD) with a rated fault current of <30 mA. Please ensure
that no other electrical appliances are protected by this RCD device.
The leakage current must not exceed the following values in accordance
with DIN EN 60335-1:2012-10:
For stationary class I heating appliances: 0.75 mA or 0.75 mA per kW
rated power input of the heating unit, whichever is higher, up to a max-
imum of 5 mA.
