For safety reasons the connection box for the
evaporator has a temperature safety device
(STB). If the evaporator indicates that it is
not operating you must
fi rst check this device
(STB).
After it has been released it has to be returned
mechanically to the correct position.
Danger
Before you start to work make sure
that nothing is connected to the mains
In order to get to the evaporator connection
box you must remove the right-hand side of
the cover.
First you must loosen the two fi xing screws on
the bottom of the frame holding the evaporator
dish.
Then you will be able to remove the lower frame
together with the evaporator dish (Fig. 2).

Remove the cover by loosening the two
screws on the back. Next remove the lid by
pulling it upwards. Now you will be able to
pull out the water trap from the evaporator
pipe (Fig. 3).

Loosen the screws holding the connection
box cover and open the connection box (Fig.
4).
Return the temperature safety device (STB)
by pressing the pin on the back into the case
until it can go in no further..

• Connect the unit to the control unit.
Make certain that you have complied with
the local electricity board and the VDE
recommendations.
• Place the lid on the connection box. Use 2
metal screws for this.
