CARE OF THE MACHINE
Cleanliness is the most important factor in the reliable operation of the FLEX LS. Both store personnel and
Envipco technicians have a responsibility to clean and maintain the machine. The store must perform
daily tasks such as cleaning the scanner glass, sensors, and belts. Envipco performs major cleaning and
maintenance of the machine on a regular schedule.
RETAILER INFORMATION
Two keys are provided with each installation. One key opens the storage bin door and the other opens the
upper front door of the machine. Both keys are required to service the machine.
The FLEX LS is equipped with a printer as standard equipment. Store personnel must install paper in the
printer as needed.
INSTALLATION
The machine requires an outlet on a dedicated circuit. Each machine requires a minimum of 100mm (4”)
of clearance in the back of the machine to allow room for the power cord plug and strain relief. 1220mm
(48”) of clearance is required in front of the machine to allow for unloading the bins. There must be 10mm
(1/2”) on the left side and 10mm (1/2”) on the right side to allow for servicing the machine.
Note: Only authorized service personnel may perform machine installations.
TRAINING
Envipco will conduct training for the machine attendants. All machine attendants and the store managers
should attend this training session. The topics include: general operation, installing paper in the printer,
removing and replacing the full bags or bins, performing minor troubleshooting, care and cleaning of the
machine, access levels to the machine, and performing minor safety inspections.
