1-2 Introduction
Figure 1-1 shows the K-POE-4BAY shelf installed on top of a K10 chassis.

Precautions
You must install a K-POE-4BAY PoE shelf in a restricted access location. Ensure that you have read
and understood the installation and operation precautions before installing a K-POE-4BAY PoE
shelf.
Warning: Install the Enterasys K-POE-4BAY PoE shelf in a Restricted Access Location only.
Access to the equipment by users must be restricted through the use of a tool or lock and key or
other means of security and is controlled by the authority responsible for the location.
