Installing the Hardware

Enterasys X-Pedition 8000/8600 Getting Started Guide

Note:

Make sure the circuit card (and not the metal plate) is between the card guides, as shown
in

Figure 30 on page 65

. Check both the upper and lower tracks.

Lock down the left and right metal tabs to secure the switching fabric module to the chassis.

Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the captive screws on each side of the switching
fabric to secure the switching fabric to the chassis.
