Aux low set point is set to -650, then the aux contacts will open when the level drops
below -650 ft.
AUX ON LEVEL –
available if the aux output is enabled, sets the high level with
respect to the reference level at which the aux contacts will close. So for example, if
Aux High set point is set to -150, then the aux contacts will close when the level rises
above -150 ft.
UNITS –
selects the measurement system for the data. The following options are
available:
English for decimal feet, degrees Fahrenheit and gallons;
English ft-in for distance displayed as feet and inches;
Metric for meters, degrees Celsius, and liters, or
Imperial for feet, degrees Fahrenheit and imperial gallons.
CONTRAST -
sets the contrast level on the LCD screen from 0 (brightest) to 20
(dimmest).
SAVE SETTINGS –
settings changed on the set screens will remain until the power is
turned off, unless they are saved. Press ENTER on this screen to make the current
settings the power on defaults.
FACTORY RESET –
allows the user return the unit to the factory default configuration.
Press the ENT button to make the selection. All user settings will be set to the Factory
default values.
DIAGNOSTICS –
allows the user to display and perform some diagnostic functions.
The diagnostic display screens are as follow:
Last update – showing D for the last reported depth without filtering, BC for
the number of bad readings since a good one, F is the strength of the out going pulse,
E is the strength of the returning pulse, N is the level of background noise. The signal
strength numbers refer to the amplifier gain where 150 represents a strong signal and
300 is very weak.
Probe Codes –
show 32 bits of information, each screen segment
represents a bit and will be a '.' if normal or a letter if the condition exists. These are not
all error codes but also represent for example signals within certain strength bands.
