PRIOR TO USE
Remove the all parts of the appliance from the packaging and remove the packaging material
completely. Check all parts for signs of damage. If damaged, the appliance must not be used.
Place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant surface. If the surface is sensitive, place a heat resistant
board under the appliance.
Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning".

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before attaching and removing the removable
plates.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Let the appliance cool down before attaching and removing the removable plates!
Risk of Burns!
To attach the removable plates on the sandwich toaster.
1. Open the sandwich maker by releasing the lid locking device and lifting the lid.
2. Upper removable plate: First slide the lower latches
into the lower fixing holes
.
Now press the upper latches onto the locking devices , so that the upper latches spring
under the locking devices
and the removable plate is firmly seated.
3. Lower removable plate: First slide the rear latches
into the rear fixing holes
.
Now press the front latches onto the locking devices so that the front latches spring under
the locking devices
and the removable plate is firmly seated.
