Changing the rotation direction
NOTE:
To avoid damaging the gear, only change
the rotational direction when the appliance
is at a standstill.
NOTE:
Carry out a short test run to see whether
the rotational direction matches the intended
application. A wrong rotational direction may
damage the tool and / or workpiece.
Change the direction of rotation by pressing
the rotation direction switch (2) towards the
left or right.
6. Clean and maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of injury. Always switch the appliance off
and remove the battery pack before carrying
out any work on the appliance.
∫ Repair and servicing work not described in
this manual should always be carried by our
service center. Use only original parts.
∫ The appliance must always be kept clean,
dry and free from oil or grease.
∫ Use a soft, a slightly moist cloth to clean
the housing.
∫ Always clean the appliance after completion
of work.
∫ Never permit any liquids to enter inside the
appliance. Never use petrol, solvents or
cleansers which can damage the plastic.
∫ If the battery is to be stored for an extended
period, the charge level should be checked
regularly. The optimum charge level is
between 50% and 80%. The optimum
storage environment is cool and dry.
7. Storage and Transportation

and remove the battery pack before storage
and transportation.
Storage
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the
battery pack.
2. Clean the appliance as described.
3. Store the appliance and its accessories in a
dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
4. Always store the appliance in a place that is
inaccessible to children.
5. During a longer storage period, check the
state of charge of the battery and recharge
if necessary, roughly every 3 months.
6. Use the original case to store in order
to protect the appliance from external
influences.
7. Regularly check the charge level of the
battery pack, if it is to be stored for
an extended period. Optimum storage
conditions are cool and dry.
Transportation
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the
battery pack.
2. For transporting, use the transport case
included in the scope of delivery in order
to protect the appliance from external
influences.
3. Always carry the appliance by its handles.
4. Protect the appliance from any heavy
impact or strong vibrations which may
occur during transportation in vehicles.
5. Secure the appliance to prevent it from
slipping or falling over.
8. Spare parts /accessories
WARNING!
Only use accessories and additional
equipment specified in the operating manual.
Using insertion tools or accessories other than
those specific in the operating manual may
cause a risk of injury. Only get the accessories
from the Service Centre.
