IV. Mechanical installation
Installation and electrical connection in
the weatherproofed housing may only be
carried out by appropriately qualified
technicians in compliance with latest VDE
standards.
As seen in fig. 3, the mains unit is pushed
into the slot in the camera tray and faste-
ned into place by four screws (b).
The lower insulation plate must not be
removed.
The mains cable (e) with its L1/N/PE wires
is to be connected to the marked terminals
1-3. For assembling the PSU in a housing
of the VHM/ST series use the supplied
mains cable for connection to the housing
terminal PCB. The green-yellow earth
wire (f) is to be plugged into one of the
PE-points (d).
The thermostat Th2 (heating accessory,
EDP No. 79281) is to be connected to the
terminals 4-5 instead of the wire jumper
and will be fixed on the bottom (insulation
plate), s. fig. 4.
