Information on the currently available hazardous area rated versions
(FM, CSA, ATEX, etc.) is available on request from Hauser. All information
relevant to explosion protection is available in separate documentation.
By attaching the CE mark, Hauser confirms that the instrument fulfills all the
requirements of the relevant EC directives.
Flow meters with a nominal diameter smaller or equal to 1” (DN 25) are covered by
Art. 3(3) of the European directive 97/23/EG (Pressure Equipment Directive) and are
designed according to sound engineering practice. For larger nominal diameters,
optional approvals according to Cat. III are available when required (depends on the
fluid and process pressure).
The flow device has successfully passed all the test procedures carried out and is
certified and registered by the PNO (PROFIBUS User Organization). The device thus
meets all the requirements of the following specifications:
•
Certified to PROFIBUS-PA, profile version 3.0 (device certification number on
request)
•
The device can also be operated with certified devices of other manufacturers
(interoperability)
