Note that a set of 10 profiles are pre-loaded into the table. These have been loaded as part of the installer
as working examples and are stored in the path shown in the profile set dialogue box. Take time to
familiarize yourself with how they are constructed. If “Test Profile 1” is not highlighted, click on it using the
mouse. Use the up and down keyboard keys to scroll through the list. Moving through the list, it can be
seen that the profile name, waveform type, profile notes and the parameters change from profile to profile.
6.3.1.
Creating and saving profiles / profile sets
The utility installer will create a “Profile Sets” folder in the directory: C:\Program Files\Utility
Profile Manager\. Unless otherwise directed, profile sets will be stored in this directory. A profile
cannot be created and saved singularly - it has to be a member of a profile set. To create a profile,
first create a profile set. A profile set can contain between 1 and 40 individual profiles. To create a
profile set click on the “Create a Profile Set” button. The “CreateProfilesForm” window will
appear
