C: Constance dependent upon the consistency of the concrete and the rigidity of the mould. Its value lies
between 2 and 4.

3. Unloading silos
In the discharge mouth of the silos, often depending on the conditions of the material, it cakes, so that the
installation of vibrators is necessary.
•
They are placed in the conical part in such a way that they produce accelerations of 1 to 2g,
that is to say of a centrifugal force of 1 to 2 times the weight of material in the hopper.
•
It is recommended to place them at 1/3 of the height of the conical part and must be fixed on a
rigid profile.
•
When the height of the conical part is greater than 4m, it is recommended to put another row at
2/3 of the height.
•
The external vibrator must be placed on the wall of the hopper with a lower angle of inclination
with respect to the horizontal.
