ENAIR is a w ind turbine w hich belongs t o t he f ield of small w ind, simple operat ion and
easy assembly.
Target ing is done passively by a rudder t hat w orks as a w eat hervane, he alw ays keeps the
aero generat or dow nw ind. Once t he w ind impinges on t he blades, the kinet ic energy of
w ind is t ransf ormed into rot at ional kinet ic energy. The variable pit ch syst em regulates t he
rot at ional speed for high w ind speeds. The generator convert s t his rotat ional kinet ic energy
int o elect rical energy.
St ruct urally t he w ind turbine has: a main body, w hich provides the connect ion bet w een the
coupling of t he tow er, t he helm orient at ion, generat or and t he variable pit ch syst em, is
isolat ed f rom t he out side by t he cone piece, a housing protect s the internal mechanism.
