2.4.2 Insert taps/cold-forming taps into the quick-change adapter

Attention

Choose the appropriate quick-change adapter for the used tap/cold-forming tap!

Note

Required tool:

Type HE 2-IKZ(Z): Hexagon socket wrench, width across flats 4

1. Push tap/cold-forming

tap into the adapter.

Note

Bring square into
correct position by
turning the tool.

2. Tighten all three screws

equally

Note

Tightening torque:
10 Nm



the tap/cold-forming tap

is locked at the shank

Note

This instruction is valid for all quick-change adapters types:
