REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Initializing the System for the First Time

1.  Install the three AAA type batteries in the Transmitter battery 

bay located on the base of the Transmitter (back side). 

See 

Figure 26.

2.  Power the receiver

3.  With the ON/OFF rocker switch turned ON, press red button 

on the module. 

4.  The Receiver will “beep” three times to indicate that it is 

ready to synchronize with a Transmitter. 

5.  With the batteries already installed in the Transmitter, push 

the “ON” button. The Receiver will “beep” to indicate the 

Transmitter’s command is accepted and set to the particular 

code of that Transmitter.

6.  The system is now initialized.

Temperature Indication Display

With the system in the “OFF” position, press the THERMOSTAT 

key and the MODE key at the same time.

Look at the LCD screen on the Transmitter to verify that a °C or 

°F is visible to the right of the Room Temperature display.

Turn the Appliance ON and OFF

1.  With the system OFF, press the ON/OFF key on the Trans-

mitter. The Transmitter LCD display will show some other 

active Icons on the screen. At the same time the Receiver 

will activate the appliance.

2.  A “beep” from the Receiver will confirm reception of the com

-

mand.

3.  TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE

4.  With the system ON , press the ON/OFF Key on the Trans-

mitter. The Transmitter LCD display will show the room 

temperature. 

See Figure 28. 

At the same time the Receiver 

will turn off the appliance.

5.  A “beep” from the Receiver confirms reception of the com

-

mand.
