All electric components must be installed in such a way, that persons in the bathroom will
only be able to access parts with safety extra-low voltage of 12V.

Care must also be taken that electrical installations are set-up, mounted and affixed in such a
way that they cannot fall into the bathtub.

Furthermore, the following is to be provided with regard to connection the Whirlpool
installation to the power grid:

A separator which enable the all-pole switching-off of the electric circuit with a contact

opening gap of at least 3mm in order to make disconnect from the mains

possible

.

Supply through a surge protector with a minimum of 25A 230/400V~ and a maximum

After the electrical installation has been completed, an inspection an approval (functional

must be carried out by an electrician. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the
implemented safety measures, earth and protective conductor connections, potential
equaliser, isolation status etc. of the newly erected sub installation  must be checked and
documented.

If the tub controller is to be used in other settings, for example, medical-technical settings
(hospitals, outpatient centres, sanatoriums, rehabilitation centres etc.), the additional
requirements for the installation of such equipment must be regarded (prior consultation
