charging, connect the cable to a microUSB 5 V DC/500 mA connec-
tor (direct current power supply). If you have not been using the
device for a longer period of time, the rechargeable battery might
be fully drained and may be in a “non-active” state. This is typical
for all rechargeable batteries. When first recharging the battery (to
“activate” it) we recommend charging for at least 5 hours, but no
more than 24 hours.
Connecting to TK-L24 via Bluetooth
1. Turn on the device by pushing the ON/OFF switch.
2. After turning on, the device is always in Bluetooth mode. The
blue LED is on and the device displays the message: “The
Bluetooth mode”. The TK-L24 indicates readiness for pairing
by the flashing of blue LED.
3. Activate Bluetooth on your device. Choose the function for
searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.
4. Select TK-L24 from the list of available Bluetooth devices. The
device will indicate successful pairing with a tone and a blue
LED indicator.
5. You can begin playing your favourite MP3 music files or play
audio from videos. After pairing, you can also use the TK-L24 to
control your device (phone, tablet etc.). Using the control button
“Next” and “Previous”, you can browse through tracks, control
volume using “Vol+” and “Vol-” and pause/resume playing using
the “Play/Pause” button.
6. TK-L24 can also be used as handsfree for receiving phone calls
(only within range of the connected paired telephone). For
incoming calls, the TK-L24 will announce the caller’s number.
• press “ON/OFF” (1) to receive call.
• press “ON/OFF” (1) to hang up the current call.
• press “MODE” (2) to reduce the ringtone volume.
Note:
If the maximum operating distance between your device and TK-
L24 is exceeded, communication will be disrupted and the device
disconnected. To pair the devices again, come closer to the TK-L24.
The connection will resume automatically. The normal operating
distance between the TK-L24 and the Bluetooth device is approxi-
mately 10 m. Before connecting the Bluetooth device, please read
the manual for the device you wish to connect. Mutual compatibility
between TK-L24 and Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed. Any ob-
stacles between the TK-L24 and the Bluetooth device may reduce
the range and maximum operating distance. To limit potential inter-
ference, do not use TK-L24 in the vicinity of other electronic devices.
Tip:
If you cannot connect your device to the TK-L24, delete all saved
paired devices in your device settings (even those that are not
currently in range). Turn Bluetooth on/off and repeat the search for
nearby Bluetooth devices.
Connection to TK-L24 does not require a PIN code.
Using the Radio
1. Plug the USB cable which serves as an external antenna to the
recharge microUSB connector of TK-L24. Do not connect the
other end of the cable to any other device or power source.
2. Turn on the device by pressing “ON/OFF” (1).
3. After turning on, the device is always in Bluetooth mode.
4. To activate FM radio, shortly press the “MODE” (2) button. The
receiver will announce “FM MODE” and a LED will light up.
5. After switching the TK-L24 to FM radio mode, the last radio
station selected will automatically begin playing.
6. To automatically tune and save all stations into the device
memory, shortly press the “ON/OFF” (1) button.
7. Adjust volume using Vol+/ Vol-.
8. To switch between saved radio stations, use buttons “Next/
Previous” (5, 6).
Playing Music from USB, MicroSD/TF Card
TK-L24 is capable of playing MP3 files stored on a USB device or
a microSD card.
1. Turn on the device by pushing the ON/OFF switch.
2. Before plugging the USB device into the USB port, make sure
the USB cable is rotated correctly to fit the port. For SD/MMC/
TF cards, insert them straight and limit bending of the card.
3. TK-L24 will announce “Play by USB drive” and will begin playing
MP3 files.
4. Using the “Next/Previous” (5, 6) buttons, you can switch be-
tween tracks, adjust volume using “Vol+” and “Vol-” and pause
the playback by pressing “ON/OFF” (1).
