to a window toward the transmitter. The reception of DCF77 radio signal is affected by
the following factors:
• thick walls and insulation, basements and cellars
• inadequate local geographical conditions (these are difficult to assess in advance)
• atmospheric disturbances, thunderstorms, electrical appliances with no interference
elimination, television sets and computers located near the DCF receiver.
Manual Setting of Time and Date
1. Press and hold the SET button.
2. Use the +/– buttons to set: time zone – hours – minutes – year – month – calendar language
– day of the week.
3. Press SET to move between the menu items.
Note: Each press of buttons to switch or change settings is followed by a beep. This function
cannot be turned off.
English calendar abbreviations are as follows:
SUN – Sunday, MON – Monday, TUE – Tuesday, WED – Wednesday, THU – Thursday, FRI – Friday,
SAT – Saturday If you do not press a button for 30 seconds when in settings, the display will
return to the main clock screen.
4. The order of abbreviations for calendar language is: GE-EN-IT-FR-NE-ES-DA.
S – this icon will be shown on the display in daylight saving time mode
Indoor and Outdoor Temperature, Humidity,
Unit of Temperature Selection
Indoor temperature and humidity is displayed in the bottom left.
Outdoor temperature is displayed on the bottom right.
Select °C/°F temperature unit by shortly pressing the - button.
Indoor and Outdoor Temperature Trends
Trend of temperature readings on a specific sensor or weather station is indicated by an arrow.
The arrow is located in the square on the right, next to the temperature readings.

The smiley icon is displayed on the right next to the indoor temperature reading.
If humidity is lower than 40 % RH, icon no. 1 (dry environment) will be displayed.
If humidity is higher than 70 % RH, icon no. 2 (wet environment) will be displayed.
If humidity is within 40–70 % RH and the temperature within 20 °C to 28 °C, icon no. 3 (nice
environment) will be displayed.
If temperature is not within 20–28 °C and humidity is not within 40–70 % RH, no icon will
be displayed.
