8. LOGIC OF OPERATION
8.10 DHW Integrating electric resistance
For an eventual integration in heating of DHW, it is possible to automa-
tically manage an electric heater found in the DHW storage, through the
SMART-MT and a specific DHW temperature sensor.
The intervention of the electric resistance happens if, after the delay time
(parameter
131
), the domestic request has not been satisfied yet.
The electric resistance is switched off once the set point temperature, de-
fined with parameter
132
, is reached.
8.11 Dehumidifier Management
To monitor ambient humidity, it is possible to operate a dehumidifier.
If dehumidification is required, L phase is made available to terminal G of
the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK; it is then possible to control the dehumidifier
ignition through a relay connected between terminal G of the PCB TERMI-
NAL BLOCK and neutral terminal N of the terminal board.
Pump 1 is also enabled, then the PdC part cooling.
A demand for dehumidification occurs only in cooling mode in the fol-
lowing cases:
- The IN and COM terminals of the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK are short-circui-
ted. Connect a specific humidistat.
- If the CRONO-TH is installed, when the relative humidity detected by the
sensor placed inside it is higher than the set point Set (parameter
119
) +
differential (parameter
120
)

8.12 Room Thermostat Output
This outlet is strictly linked to CRONO-TH use.
When the room temperature detected by the sensor placed inside it
satisfies the Set point (parameters
200÷203
), L phase is made available
to C terminal of the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK; if to the contrary, L phase is
available to terminal D.
This way, it is possible to pilot the ignition of an air conditioning terminal
via a relay connected between terminal C of the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK
and neutral terminal N of the terminal board.
Notes:
The E terminal of the PCB terminal block is always available during L
8.13 Comfort/Attenuation time periods
In case the CRONO-TH is used it is possible to set the environment Sets,
defined by "Comfort" (par.
200
in heating, par.
202
in cooling).
If at certain times of the day the need for comfort isn't needed, for example
outside or in the night hours, it is possible to mitigate these Sets, which
become of "Attenuation" (par.
201
in heating, par.
203
in cooling).
Using parameters
205
and
206
, it is possible to set the time of day in which
one can force, respectively, the transition to the comfort and attenuation
Sets.
With the
204
parameter, or with brief touch on the "up arrow" key of the
CRONO-TH one can force the Set change, if in comfort one passes to at-
tenuation, and vice versa. This can be useful if, for example, I'm leaving
home and I want to rapidly pass to attenuation.
NOTE:
By default the comfort Set is always active, and if one manually forces
the change to the attenuation Set, at the end of the day (00:00 o'clock), it
automatically returns to comfort.
